the clock has 14 bells and 22 hammers

chiming quarters on eight bells and a large bell at the rear striking the hours,

every three hours 3,6,9,12 after the hour bell  has finished its strike the musical chimes are released playing on 13 bells

It also has a choice of eight selectable tunes

There is a pull cord at the side of the clock to enable the operator to play its musical chimes at any time i.e. a music box
