A London long case clock by John Hubert circa 1690 this clock has a Month going wind duration.

It is unusual to have its striking rack assembly mounted on the back plate of the clock as shown.

The rack snail is driven from a star wheel that is mounted to the front plate of the clock by

an arbor running through both plates and connected to the snail at the rear of the clock.

It strikes its hours on a large bell as normal and strikes half hours once on a smaller

bell the clock plates are six posted.
